In the future, you will be able to upload your Instagram for permanent storage, link to your Spotify wrapped, write journal entries and much more so the story of your life is never forgotten and future ancestors can explore their family heritage.

Your time capsule will hold your most valuable memories that put together the story of your life. These pictures, videos and letters deserve to be stored safely and accessible for centuries, which is why we choose to build on the permanent web created by Arweave. In contrast, physical family photo albums get lost or can't be easily accessed, hard drives only last 5 - 10 years and sites like ancestry.com are unlikely to be around forever and can lock data. Even cloud storage does not guarantee immutable data storage like Aurora does using the permaweb.
